Dental Clincians

Dr Andrew Kearns

BDS MBChB(Hons) MJDF RCS(Eng)

GDC: 250783

Andrew qualified as a dentist from Newcastle University in 2014, achieving Merit in Clinical Dentistry and receiving the Joan Weyman Medal in recognition of outstanding care in Child Dental Health. With a clear passion for surgery early in his career, he gained valuable experience working in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery before relocating to the Northwest to study Medicine at the University of Manchester, where he graduated with Honours.

In recent years, Andrew has focused his clinical work on Oral Surgery, IV Sedation, and Dental Implants. He is currently the Clinical Lead at Salford Oral Surgery and plays an active role in training the next generation of dentists as an Educational Supervisor for Oral Surgery Dental Core Trainees.

Andrew has a passion for teaching and development. He is in the final year of his Master of Science in Dental Implantology. He has presented at both national and international conferences and has multiple publications in his field of research.

Outside of work, Andrew loves spending time with his family and friends. He is a big sports fan and loves to travel whenever he gets the chance.

Dr George Grey

MChD BSc(Merit)

GDC: 278546

George qualified with merit from the University of Leeds in 2019 and has worked in the Manchester area ever since. His main aim is making your dental visit as comfortable and informative as possible, seeking to provide good quality general dentistry.

George is keen to continually develop and hone his skills and has undertaken several postgraduate courses in orthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and restorative dentistry. This has allowed him to provide a myriad of dental treatments for his patients in house.

Outside of dentistry, George enjoys running and cycling along Manchester’s lovely canals and watching his beloved Manchester United at Old Trafford where he has been a season ticket holder for over 20 years.

Dr Colin Tribe

BSc(Hons) BDS MFDS RCPS(Glas)

Colin initially completed a BSc in Biomedical Science before going on to study Dentistry at the University of Liverpool. Since qualifying, Colin has gained experience across general dentistry, oral surgery, and IV sedation, and genuinely enjoys the variety and challenge that each area brings. Colin aims to make everyone feel at ease during their visit and provide the highest standard of care tailored to individual needs.

In addition to Colin’s clinical work at the practice, he also works at Liverpool Dental Hospital across different specialist departments, including oral surgery, oral medicine, and dento-maxillofacial radiology. These roles allow him to stay involved in complex cases and continuously refine clinical skills. Colin also has a strong interest in dental education and regularly supports the teaching and mentoring of dental students and colleagues.

Outside of dentistry, Colin is a keen home cook, enjoys working on his car, and competes in small bore rifle shooting. He tries as much as possible to get away with family for a hike around the Lake District - when the weather permits!

Dr Reem Hassan

BDS MFDS RCPS(Glas)

GDC: 309278

Reem graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Queen’s University Belfast in 2023 and has since gained further qualifications from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. She is a dentist with a strong interest in Oral Surgery. Her clinical work mainly involves minor oral surgery procedures, including complex tooth extractions. Reem also provides intravenous (IV) sedation for anxious patients to help make treatment as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

On graduation, Reem completed the Joint Dental Foundation Core Training (JDFCT) scheme and is currently pursuing further training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She regularly attends postgraduate courses and conferences to keep up to date with the latest clinical guidelines and techniques. Reem has keen interests in research and has presented her work at national conferences.

Outside of work, Reem enjoys travelling and discovering new coffee spots.

Aminder Bahia

BDS MJDF RCS(Eng) Dip OS

GDC: 177446

Aminder qualified as a dentist from The University of Manchester in 2009 and has gained extensive experience across both NHS and private practices in Greater Manchester.

He has a broad background in general dentistry with particular interests in restorative dentistry, endodontics (root canal treatment), and oral surgery.
He is currently completing a Master of Science degree in Oral Surgery and training in dental sedation. This allows him to provide advanced surgical care in a calm and supportive environment. Alongside this, Aminder has also undertaken postgraduate training in restorative dentistry and endodontics, giving him a well-rounded approach to patient care.

Aminder is passionate about teaching and mentoring early-career dentists, helping them to grow in confidence and skill.

Outside of dentistry, he enjoys keeping active, playing guitar, and spending time with his family.
